Breitling 140th Anniversary Collection, Three Watches with New Perpetual Calendar Movements
To mark Breitling’s 140th anniversary, Breitling unveils its first exclusive QP Calibre B19 buying replica watch.
Founded in 1884 and celebrating its 140th anniversary this year, Breitling is no stranger to innovation and important milestones. In 1915, Breitling unveiled its first watch with an independent push-piece. In 1934, Breitling patented a watch with a second independent push-piece. In 1969, Breitling participated in the development of one of the earliest automatic chronograph movements, the Chronomatic or Calibre 11. In 2009, the brand launched its first in-house movement, the Calibre B01. Today, we present another important movement, the Calibre B19, Breitling’s first in-house perpetual calendar movement… and, of course, in a watch.
Breitling Caliber B19
In 2009, Breitling introduced the first in-house developed and produced movement, the B01, and in-house movements became essential to Breitling. This movement, an automatic with integrated chronograph, column wheel and vertical clutch, opened the door to further developments. Tudor first used this movement to power its chronographs, an unexpected but ingenious combination. The B01 evolved into the B02 with 24-hour function, the B03 with split-seconds mechanism, and the B04 with GMT function. Now it’s time to meet the perpetual calendar caliber B19 – which is also a chronograph, of course. Breitling Perpetual Calendar 140th Anniversary
The perpetual calendar is not a new product for Breitling. Over the years, we’ve seen several Breitling watches combine chronographs with QPs… but most of the time it’s based on an ETA with a Dubois Depraz module on top. Breitling also introduced watches with the so-called 1461 movement, which only needed correction once every 4 years, but took into account all the other changes in the calendar, including the 28-day February (somewhat an intermediate step between the annual calendar and the perpetual calendar).
With the Calibre B19, Breitling introduced its first perpetual calendar movement, which had to be combined with the brand's specialty, the chronograph. The base movement is similar to the B01 movement, but the movement has several upgrades, including an increase in power reserve to 96 hours (70 hours for the B01 movement). The perpetual calendar is located on the top of the movement and displays its indications on subdials together with the chronograph - date and 30 minutes at 3 o'clock, month and leap year at 6 o'clock, day of the week and small seconds at 9 o'clock, moon phase at 12 o'clock, and a central chronograph seconds hand. The indications can be adjusted via the pushers on the side of the case. As expected, the movement is COSC-certified. Patek Philippe replica

This new movement is incorporated into three classic models from the brand’s collection, all with red gold cases and gold and black contrasting dials, each limited to 140 pieces.
PREMIER B19 DATORA 42 140th ANNIVERSARY EDITION
As a perpetual calendar release, it’s no surprise that the first of three limited editions is based on the brand’s most classic and elegant watch, the Premier. First introduced in 1943, the collection brought the chronograph out of the cockpit and into society. The modern version of the Premier is a classically proportioned watch with a sleek bezel and box-shaped sapphire crystal. The watch has a 42mm case, is 50mm long (not a small replica swiss watches), and is 15.6mm thick, yet is water-resistant to 100 meters. The strap is black alligator leather with elegant tone-on-tone stitching and an 18k gold folding clasp.
The dial of this Premier B19 Datora retains the model’s classic gold Arabic numerals with a black base. In addition to the aforementioned counters and indications, the gold syringe hands combine with the gold minute track and black tachymeter scale to create a bold and elegant watch.
Quick Facts: 42mm x 15.6mm 18k rose gold – sapphire crystal and case back, 100m water resistant – black dial with tone-on-tone counters – movement B19 – black alligator leather strap.
NAVITIMER B19 CHRONOGRAPH 43 140th Anniversary Edition
The second watch in Breitling’s 140th Anniversary Perpetual Calendar collection is the brand’s iconic pilot’s chronograph, the Navitimer, which is beautiful, bold and complex. Cased in red gold, this watch retains the collection’s signature slide rule bezel, but adds a strong sense of luxury. Given the complex display and movement, Breitling has opted for a mid-sized case here, with a diameter of 43mm and a thickness of 15.62mm. The case length remains at 49mm, and with a water resistance of 30m, it’s a classic Navitimer.
The dial of this Navitimer B19 Chronograph 43 Perpetual Calendar is the real highlight of this watch, with its gold sun-brushed caseback and tone-on-tone chronograph counters. The dial is framed by a black slide rule and is paired with an alligator leather strap with contrasting stitching and an 18k gold folding clasp. Jacob & Co Fc Barcelona 125th Anniversary Edition

SUPER CHRONOMAT B19 44 PERPETUAL CALENDAR 140TH EDITION
Last but not least, we once again go bold and personal with the Super Chronomat B19 44 Perpetual Calendar, the sportiest of all 3 models… First introduced in 1983 as the official watch of the Italian aerobatic team, the Chronomat is a rugged watch with a rotating bezel, screw pushers and a distinctive design with four raised bezel markers at the 15-minute mark on the bezel. The 44mm case is once again made of red gold and features black ceramic inserts, as well as black contrasting elements on the crown and pushers. This large watch is paired with a rollerball rubber strap and an 18k red gold folding clasp.
Although the mechanics are the same, Calibre B19 is presented in a skeletonized version with a sapphire dial to display its QP. The semi-skeletonized dial still maintains good legibility, with simple subdials and surrounded by a tachymeter scale.
Quick Facts: 44mm x 15.35mm 18k rose gold – sapphire crystal and case back, screw-down crown and pushers, black ceramic bezel – water-resistant to 100 meters – grey skeleton dial with tone-on-tone chronograph counters – Calibre B19 – black rubber-leather strap – Ref.
